MR REY FOO JONG HAN
Rey Foo was admitted to the Singapore Bar in 1992 and has been in practice for about 25 years. He is a partner of the Firm. After qualifying in 1990 as a Barrister, Mr Rey Foo obtained his Masters in Law in Corporate and Commercial Law from Queen Mary College, University of London in 1991. He has practised corporate law and his present areas of practice include conveyancing, corporate law and civil litigation. He also advises on construction claims. In relation to conveyancing practice, his transaction experience includes providing legal advice to the practice’s clients in all matters of real estate law, advising and acting for individuals, corporations, developers, banks and financial institutions in property sale and purchase, mortgage and refinancing transactions as well as landlord and tenant matters. He has also advised management sale committees on en-bloc transactions.

MR GOH LAM CHUAN
Goh Lam Chuan was admitted to the Singapore Bar in 1995 and he has been in practice for about 22 years. He is a partner of the Firm. He is a graduate of the University of London. His initial years as a lawyer were spent handling litigation and criminal matters. However over the last 8 years he has been handling HDB matters and he heads the Firm’s HDB conveyancing department.

MR KWEH SOON HAN
Kweh Soon Han graduated from the National University of Singapore (NUS) in 1990 and later obtained his Masters in Law also from NUS in 1993. Immediately after his graduation, he worked as a legal officer with the Singapore Government until 1995 after which he entered private legal practice. His areas of practice are real property law, company law, administrative and constitutional law, law of societies, employment law, and family and trust law.

MR P. PADMAN
Padman is a consultant in the firm’s Litigation and Arbitration Practice Group. He graduated from the National University of Singapore in 1990 and has been in practice since 1991.
Areas of Practice
With deep experience in general and commercial litigation, Padman’s practice covers a broad range of areas. He has been regularly involved in commercial disputes of all types, and in property-based litigation, medical malpractice and general litigation involving the sale of goods/provision of services, contractual disputes and trusts, as well as defamation.
Padman is very experienced in international commercial arbitration and regularly acts as counsel in such disputes both before the Singapore International Arbitration Centre and International Chamber of Commerce arbitrations seated in Singapore.
Experience
Padman lectures regularly to the insurance and banking industry on relevant legal issues. He has also lectured the management of a prominent research agency on their areas on interest.
He acts as an Adjudicator for MidRec, which is an adjudication scheme for consumers dissatisfied with cars purchased from CaseTrust-accredited car dealers.
By invitation, Padman has contributed an article to the magazine Human Resources on the subject of terminating an employment contract. Padman has also contributed chapters to leading practice text Singapore Precedents of Pleadings.
He has defended the Law Society of Singapore in matters in the High Court, as well as being a member of the Inquiry Panel of the Law Society, which looks into complaints of misconduct against lawyers.
Padman also is a trainer in the compulsory Advocacy Course run by the Law Society for fresh law graduates before they are admitted to practice.

MR GURDEEP SINGH SEKHON
Gurdeep Singh Sekhon is a graduate of the University of Wales and a Barrister of Australia, England and Wales. He was admitted to the Singapore Bar in January 1992 and has been in continuous legal practice in Singapore for over 21 years. He is a partner of the Firm.
His main areas of practice are acting for both Plaintiffs and Defendants in respect of personal injury, fatal accidents, property damage, debt collection, construction and insurance claims. He has enjoyed a number of successes when acting in particularly difficult and complex cases in the Civil Courts. He also advises on bankruptcy and winding up law.

MR PRADEEP KUMAR GOBIND
Pradeep Kumar graduated from the University of London in 1990 and subsequently obtained his MA from the University of Leeds in 2001. He was called to the Bar of England and Wales in 1993 and of Singapore in 1995. He has been in private practice for over 19 years. His primary areas of practice are in all nature of civil and commercial litigation, family law, estate matters and solicitor’s work. He joined the Firm in 2004 after having spent the initial years of his legal career in some of the largest law practices in Singapore. In addition to his legal qualifications, he also attained a Diploma in Applied Psychology in 2007, is a Neuro Linguistics Master Practitioner (NLP) and a Certified NLP Coach.
MS HUE JIA PEI (XU JIA PEI)
Jia Pei is an associate of the Firm. She graduated from the University of Leeds and was admitted to the bar in 2015. Although she has just been called to the bar, Jia Pei has over 10 years of legal experience, having first joined the Firm in 2005 as a paralegal. Her main areas of practice comprises personal injuries and fatal accident claims, as well as wills and probate.
MS MUNIRAH MYDIN
Munirah graduated in 2014 from the University of Bristol, where she attained her Bachelor of Laws (Honours). Now an Associate of the Firm, she had started out as a Practice Trainee of the Firm in 2015. Munirah was called to the Singapore Bar in August 2016.
Prior to joining the Firm, Munirah had the opportunity to explore and be trained in many diverse areas of practice. This included intellectual property, insolvency and restructuring as well as matrimonial law. Currently, Munirah is assisting the Litigation Partners of the Firm and is focusing on honing her skills in civil litigation and corporate work.

MR CHIA KOK SENG
Chia Kok Seng was admitted to the Singapore Bar in 1991. He is a graduate of the National University of Singapore and has been in practice for over 26 years. His main area of practice is Family law. However he also does probate and criminal work.

MR NAVINDER SINGH
Navinder was called to the Singapore Bar in 1995.Navinder commenced practice with an established local shipping and commercial litigation firm and was made partner within a short space of five years.
In 2002, Navinder founded Navin & Co. to focus on his desired career in maritime, commercial and corporate litigation. Navinder has acted as counsel in several landmark cases involving complex shipping work, and two of those cases determined issues in the Singapore Courts for the first time. His shipping and admiralty practice includes ship financing and shipping corporate/transactional matters. Navinder also practises commercial litigation and arbitration and has acted as counsel in major commercial litigation/arbitration cases. He is a partner of the Firm.

JASPREET KAUR PURBA
Jaspreet graduated in June 2015 from the University of Southampton, where she attained her Bachelor of Laws (Honours).
Prior to being called to the Singapore Bar, Jaspreet was a Practice Trainee of the Firm from July 2015 to June 2017 assisting Mr. Navinder Singh in the Shipping, Admiralty and Commercial Law department.
Jaspreet was subsequently called to the Singapore Bar in August 2017, and joined our Firm as a Legal Associate. She continues to assist Mr. Navinder Singh, the Head of the Shipping, Admiralty and Commercial Law department in attending to various litigious and non-contentious matters.
